I'm trying to set up a DIV layer on a page with a Flash animation to play on top of a central image which is part of the normal view of the page. This works as expected in FF and Safari on Mac/Win, but in IE7 and Chrome-Win, the content after the DIV is getting pushed down the same height as the DIV, so something isn't floating(?) right.
I'm positioning (floating?) the Flash DIV in (what I believe is) the same position of the image, using a negative top location:
Changing the float setting only seems to worsen the effect across browsers.
Could some kind soul take a look and perhaps offer a suggestion or two?
Here's the page: <savorychoice.com/index_animated.html>
