Adding custom elements to GL's web settings
Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of adding custom elements for the Textpattern CMS <http://textbook.textpattern.net/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Tag_Reference> to GL's web database:
Since Textpattern uses xml-style tags for its templating language (e.g. <txp:article form="post" sort="Title">) this will allow me to take full advantage of automatic code completion and editing tags via the inspector palette in GL. I've tried it with a few tags and it works superbly.
But I have a few questions re the available options for elements in the web db...
I go to Web Settings > Markup > Web > HTML and create a new element. Now the Inspector's Basic tab shows the following options:
What does all of that mean? I've experimented a bit after looking at standard elements and switching from "block" to e.g. "inline container", but I can't see a difference.
Does that only affect rendering in layout mode ?
Any help would be much appreciated :-)
Cheers Martin
