Client may be a halfwit, but has raised a few issues:

Client has produced a book and wants to put it online in PDF format.

a] is it possible to link from html to a specific page in a PDF
(equivalent to an anchor in html)? I'm assuming not.

b] Sections of book are split into PDFs of approx 8MB. Re the point
above, even if it is possible, I assume that the browser would have to
download and cache the whole PDF first in order to jump to page 23 or
whatever?

c] client want to disable print & save functions in the PDF. (Yes, we
are going round in circles, because if it's cached...)

Anyway - I assume this will have to be done by the person(s)
originally creating the PDF?

Any insight/advice (other than ditch the client?)
