Can we explore this in more depth? I'm not challenging the statement,
but I'd like to document pros and cons.

My experience is mixed, early in the game, and I think if we explore it,
we can avoid pitfalls (see previous posts about trying to upload large
pdf files) and share how our long time use of GL is different than DW.

Things that tripped me up were:

DW creates folders of new items, that if you don't know to upload, the
pages fail. Connections as an example.

I never used "publish" or whatever it is called in GL, so I prefer to
manually see files, select to upload. However, in DW, I'm finding it
faster to use the sync feature because I'm overwriting existing GL sites
with DW content. It's just faster.

Stuff I miss is creating a new folder on the fly. I have to leave DW, go
to HD, create the folder, etc.

So let's talk about what is missing in site management of DW that we
took for granted in GL. It may help in transition.

(Yes, Miles, we know you are not going to transition... :-) )
