Thanks for answers to my previous query. Unfortunately, none of them really met my objective.
I am trying to set up a simple diary page with events listed by date similar to: http://www.uglymushroom.com/diarynew.html
Some of the dates are annual repeating, although not always the same dates but I think this is largely academic.
What I would like to be able to do is enter information into a simple form and have the web page update automatically with the new info correctly placed in the chronological sequence. Old events would drop off after their date is passed.
There are relatively few events in a 12 month period (less than 50) but it would be nice to display, say, the next 3 or 6 months on page one and then later events on page two?
It may be that just manually updating a simple html page as shown is the easiest solution, but my current obsession with dynamic content and databases leads me to seek a more elegant solution !
Any ideas?
