I become increasingly convinced a complete conversion to EM's is necessary. However I do not see any options for MenuMachine to use an "EM" unit. There is an option under accessibility to allow relative resizing however. As a Mac user I cannot see on the PC presently, especially for IE6. So even though I do screen shots I can't increase or decrease text size to see what happens. I don't presently have any designs done completely in EMs, only partials thus I have no examples to offer presently. I went back and dug up a previous thread on this subject and have decided that the font-size: 62.5%=10px=1em is a very nice little crutch. On Firefox pixels used for text do resize however and I note the menu machine seems to work with resizing there, but what happens in IE?
http://www.fotooptions.com/index.html is done in partial ems for much of it and it does have a menumachine navigation. The text is not yet in EMS though so ignore that part if you will. But possibly someone could tell me what the menumachine menu does though when increasing and decreasing text size in IE6 & 7.
Any experience with this folks?
