Previously, when using CS3, Quicktime Pro offered FLV as an export option--ideal for when we have to show videos in Flash on a site.
I recently reinstalled all software on a Mac Pro, and skipped CS3 and installed CS4 after having it sit in the shrinkwrap for months. I don't see evidence of a plugin for QT, and am forced to use the Adobe Media Encoder CS4 to convert a .mov to flv for the web. Problem is a 14MB mov file balloons to 35MBs using that encoder.
If I use QT Pro on my laptop, which still has CS3 and can export from QT to FLV, the resulting file is 18.2MBs.
Does anyone know where I could find, or how I could reinstall the older QT plugin on my desktop?
Thanks, Craig
