I'm reworking an old site and trying to shed the last tables in the process. I'm having a problem though with a particluar gallery layout consisting on images and a text column.
The stripped-down dummy page is at <http://simnet.is/klipklap/webdesign/kleb/>
The text sits in div.projectinfo, width: 220px, floated to the right, and the images are in div.projectimages.
As you narrow the browser window, the text column slides into the images area and causes the thumbs to reflow. How do I prevent that?
I tried setting a width on div.projectimages, but to no avail.
Ideally I want the div.projectimages to be flexible, so it can accommodate different numbers/sizes of thumbs/images. The text column should stay fixed at 220px and the overall black container div. project should only stretch as wide as neccessary.
Dead-easy with tables, but with CSS???
Any ideas?
