I have a boring but probably softball ? for someone regarding CS2 . . .
Hi there GoLive listers. Long time no post. But I had a long bath quite recently, zero BO here whatsoever, if that matters at all. :) (I do know that wasn't really the point of that thread. I joke. Probably badly. Apologies.)
I'm still using GoLive CS2. Want to do something that seems like it should be pretty elementary, but can't figure it out, and the help menus aren't helping, at least . . . not enough. Ack.
I want to create a little form with a text input and a submit button. Then, after the user hits submit, I want it to take the user to a URL, wherein the URL is something like this: http://www.domain.com/someothercraphere/anotherfolderhere/"what the user just submitted in that text input."
No, I don't want to just directly send the users to that particular URL, I want them to have to enter something and then have it appended to the end of a URL string in front of it. The reasons for this need are multivariate and both boring and annoying, so I'll not bore the list with that.
Would anyone be so kind as to tell me how to do this as simply as possible? :)
Thanks! Ramona
