We're looking for some help w the following page under IE8 beta candidate 1 (wasn't this one supposed to be "better")...
The client wants rounded corners for everything (even the search box), and the site requires flexibility in the number of columns from page to page, so we decided to use the 960.css grid system style from <http:// 960.gs/> -- you can see what it can do at <http://960.gs/demo.html>
It's fine from Safari and Firefox (both Mac and PC), as well as IE6 and IE7. But on IE8, the rounded corners are showing above the horizontal rules and image file, and we get the vertical scroll bar (from overflow:auto; but if I remove that, things still aren't right). In "compliancy" mode, IE8 renders the page fine.
For some reason, IE8 doesn't like using the grid divs within the content rounded div.
If anyone has a suggestion on what we can do to fix this, it will be appreciated. If all else fails, we'll create additional divs to for the top and bottom corners w the content between, but would prefer to make the existing approach work if possible.
TIA, Craig
