When I updated GoLiveHeaven.com for the last time, I noticed that the code was a hodgepodge of nested table code made in GoLive 5/6, CSS tags randomly scattered around by CS3 (during my last update), and other random code elements.
Since it's a fairly simple page, I decided I'd try to give a go at making it validate and recreate the design using XHTML/CSS with Coda/ CSSEdit. I think I've been approximate the results quite closely:
http://goliveheaven.com/compliant.html compare to: http://goliveheaven.com/index.html
The only images on the page are the validation badges at the bottom, and the layout is flexible and grows as you expand the window. You'll notice that the header seems a bit off, and this is my only issue so far, and the one I need help with.
Even thought the width and margin values for #content and #header are the same, if you look in CSSEdit you can see that each of those actually behaves differently. The header seems to be smaller, or the right margin for it larger, as you can see when you look at the "web power at your fingertips" tagline. I'd like that tagline to be flush (minus the padding in #header) with the right side of #content.
Any ideas?
