I suspect not. Just as it's virtually impossible to disprove advertising claims such as 'world's best,' 'easy to use' or even 'intuitive.'
Unless there's a factual issue in there... and that's not easy.
Client of mine who I did identity work for last year ended up in court with the web developers who built a £23,000 site (absolutely nothing to do with me) for a business network.
Looked okay (subjective opinion) but it was horrible to use for both end users and the client's staff.
As she said to me at one point "We've got a bespoke website that doesn't work." (My comment that perhaps they'd got someone else's bespoke website was not graciously received...).
Both sides have incurred immense amounts of time and effort to prove their case, both called in independent technical and usability experts etc.
To say nothing of briefing legal counsels etc to a level where they could understand and present the nuances of the arguments.
Initial judge's reaction from the preliminary hearing was basically along the lines of "You've got a website, what's your problem?"
I suspect both sides are now equally dispirited, it's been a huge emotional drain apart from the ongoing cost and has clearly sapped much of the energy from my client's business, which has a knock-on effect in turn.
I suspect that both parties have pretty much lost any enthusiasm for the forthcoming court case, especially given it seems quite likely the losing party's business will not survive the outcome as a viable (solvent) trading concern.
One can't help but feel the only real winners will be the lawyers.
