My Web files live on a remote HD, an external drive hooked up to a Mac we use as a file server. Problem is the drive always goes to sleep after a minute or so, and I have to wait for it to spin up every time I preview, save, sometimes even just scroll.
In the Energy Saver settings on the host machine, I have the "Put the hard disk(s) to sleep when possible" setting *deselected*, and the overall "put the computer to sleep" time set to 1 hr. This sleep problem seems to only have been happening since upgrading the remote Mac to OS 10.5.
Any suggestions to keep the drive awake?
TIA,
