the funniest thing happened: for a client I registrated a domain (name) the internet company uses a 'realtime domainname system' to register a name. the registration came back with an 'error'. the domainname was 'free' at the time. two days later the domainname was taken by 'moniker.com' I could buy the domainname if i wanted (whois told me it was registrated a day after i thought i registrated). so it seems 'moniker.com' has a way to look in the RDS to highjack domains and make a profit of it.
any of you had similar experience? what to do about it, is there anywhere to complain?
please advice
greetings
anton
