I am wondering if anybody can give me some advice here. I work for an educational institution in the IT department as well as teaching IT subjects 50% of the time. In other words, I am basic, and far from genius level.
At a meeting today, we were discussing how putting an "on line classroom" link from our school website, might be of real use to adult students who often do not have good attendance due to personal responsibilities. (We are at the High School level). Our school website was created, and is maintained, in a GoLive environment so we are not that far out of line. We could upgrade to a Dreamweaver site if that is what it took.
I have downloaded Moodle, which appears to have possibilities. We are on a hosting server with C-Panel, so theoretically that is a possibility, but it seems to be very complicated for what is really a trial program.
Has anybody any experience with on line classroom software, and could make me some suggestions for at least the starting places for a search.
