Well, strictly speaking, it's a combination of HTML 5 and CSS 3 which will facilitate simplified naming conventions and several new elements, eg:
section : A generic document or application section. A section, in this context, is a thematic grouping of content.
article : A section of a page that consists of a composition that forms an independent part of a document, page, or site. This could be a forum post, a magazine or newspaper article, a Web log entry, a user- submitted comment, or any other independent item of content.
aside : A section of a page that consists of content that is tangentially related to the content around the aside element, and which could be considered separate from that content. Such sections are often represented as sidebars in printed typography.
Sadly as ever it'll be a while till browsers catch up and the legacy crap (primarily IE6) disappears.
But by the time I retire, this should be getting really simple...
