jQuery purports to have solutions as well. I watched a EweToob tutorial and it seemed unnecessarily tortuous (as opposed to those things that are necessarily tortuous):
But scroll down to click "View Demo >>" link and then view source to see how it's really applied.
I think either way, CSS or jQuery, this method degrades acceptably, but the example layout is so simple that it's hard for me to say, compared with more complex collections of divs.
