I live in the middle of nowhere (and so do a lot of my friends) where dial up is the only option, but we work in places where wireless works just fine.
Is there any way to use a wireless router with a lap top so you can share a modem or files with a dial up computer. I know ad hoc networks (but they disconnect when you do) and I know you can set up a network with a cross over cable. I did read D-link would do this but didn't see how.
I am just wondering if there is some way to make this work.
