Yet in another of the series of rookie questions: Centering (again)
Well I thought that I had my centering issued handled for all those pages that would not center with GL 9. But now I am in a different type of situation and I am not seeing or understanding what is going on here.
This is my original website, which was made by an early maker of websites about ten years ago in Knoxville, TN. I have only added a couple pages to it over the years by copying a page and then changing the copy. When I open the front page in GL 9 layout mode, I am not sure what I am seeing here. Everything is trapped in some sort of a "box" and I am not sure what that is, or how to deal with it.
I think I see some absolute position tags that need to be changed, but again, I am not sure about this. And I am trying to change things while looking at the source code in the method so I can see divs instead of tables. And this is before CSS was being used, so it is all GL 9 conversion, I would think. Today is the first time that I have really looked at my source code and I just added a link at the bottom of the page, as well as some text and was thinking, "What is this?".
The site is http://www.mittmount.com/
This was never meant to be a pretty site, just a site to inform those people looking for my speciality. And one that is easily found in the search engines and that it is.
Any help appreciated!
Robert
