This page is built with divs and css. The main and sidebar are set to width but not height. The main div controls the height of the page. For now I've placed gifs in the sidebar to force the div to be the same height as the main div, but it seems there should be a better way to do it. If I wanted to tile a design in the sidebar to flow to the bottom, what is the best way to achieve the desired results? Set a height in the sidebar div? Another way? The original instructions for this 2-column div did not set a height for main and sidebar, but I'm not sure why.
My next question involves the sidebar design. Do you think it's too busy? In saying that I'm thinking it a bit too busy, but not sure what to do in this instance. I don't like the empty space if the gifs aren't placed, and I also don't have enough info to fill the sidebar, so I'm trying to tweak the design. I appreciate any suggestions.
Slowly getting there...
