Thank all of you for your responses. I've incorporated your ideas and added more information. I went on a stinky tofu tangent today. I think the page is almost complete. The only thing left is tweaking and housekeeping, and another read-thru of the text.

Yeah, Pirobox seems to work well for me. I had to go through a lot of trial and error to find script that worked for me, but was finally successful. As for Victoria Peak, that high res image at Wikipedia is amazing. When I was oon the Peak is was foggy and a bit drizzly, but that didn't dampen my spirit. The tram ride up the hill is memorable. I've been to Hong Kong two times, but is so much more to see. Must go back someday.

I experimineted by making the text larger and smaller in my browser and you are right, it will depend of the viewers settings. A friend has her laptop set at such a hgh resolution at if I want to see how crappy and distorted a page can look, I check it out on her computer. Might as well not agonize too much about the sidebar.

I removed the nested list and reduced the width of the main section, adding the space to the sidebar. I also added padding to the left sidebar to give the text more space. Warren "felt that the line lengths were a tad too long for comfortable reading, in that type size." and I agreed with him. Hence the change.
Take another look when you have time. I'm always open for suggestions.
