I recently found a template that I have been wanting to use. It took me a little bit to figure out how to incorporate it into GL 9, but I did so. To me the results seem good. Just a simple little website to catch the search engines. Today I used it for the second time.
So I was wondering what happens to the CSS when I mix in a foreign template (for one it was made for Windoze) and GoLive 9 together. When I look at source code, I really do not know what I am looking at, but I am getting so I can pick some things out.
Just today I read somewhere in the forum about too many <h1> happening. I was trying and trying and trying to get the text spacing the way I wanted it in the grid layout. Something was stopping me and the WYSIWYG was not going to fix it. So I highlighted the area I was fighting and went to the source code and right there were three <h1> in a row. I deleted two of them and the problem was gone.
To me the page looks short and sweet in the source code, but then I donÂ’t know that all.

PS... what I will do sometimes for additional SEO, especially when I want to reach out to many different searches is to make little websites like this that will catch specific searches. This one will be a top hitter within two months for the Google search of “automagically”. I did the same thing a few weeks ago for http://www.rhythmicallyhomogeneous.com/ If you were to do a Google search for “rhythmically homogeneous”, you’ll see that SonicMood and the ASH own that search. Before the summer is over I should have SonicMood owning “ambient music software” and a few other searches. -- This list is a free service of LassoSoft: http://www.LassoSoft.com/ Search the list archives: http://www.ListSearch.com/GoLive/Browse/ Manage your subscription: http://www.ListSearch.com/GoLive/
